Foundayo (orforglipron) is a once-daily oral GLP-1 tablet taken without fasting or timing restrictions. It belongs to a class of GLP-1 receptor agonists that work by mimicking natural hormones that regulate appetite, helping you feel fuller for longer.
Unlike other oral GLP-1 tablets, Foundayo has no food or timing restrictions. You can take it any time of day, with or without food, and there's no need to fast beforehand or wait before eating. It also doesn't require refrigeration. Foundayo is FDA-approved for weight management via the GLP-1 pathway, but they contain different active ingredients and has a different dosing schedule.
Take one tablet once daily at any time that suits you: morning, midday or evening. But we recommend taking it at the same time every day to make it a habit. It can be taken with or without food, and it has no water or fasting restrictions. Keep at room temperature and avoid taking more than one dose in any 24 hours. Your provider will increase your dose every four weeks until you reach your maintenance dose.

Patients can start to notice reduced appetite within the first few days to 1–2 weeks, but clinically meaningful weight loss develops gradually over several months as the dose is increased. The full effect is not expected until patients have reached and remained on a maintenance dose.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. Do not take 2 doses of Foundayo in the same day.
Do not take more than 1 tablet per day.
If you miss taking Foundayo for 7 or more days in a row, call your doctor to talk about how to restart your treatment.
No, there are no studies that can confirm the safety of orforglipron in pregnancy. If you become pregnant while taking orforglipron, stop treatment immediately and talk to your healthcare provider. You should also speak to them before taking the medication if you are planning to breastfeed.
Orforglipron can interact with other medications. It's essential to let your doctor know your full medical history and any current medications you are taking before starting orforglipron.
